Subject: Protest Anti-Gay Bigot McClurkin at City-Sponsored Event
LGBT activists will gather at the corner of City Hall Plaza, Cambridge Street, and the JFK Federal Building in Boston starting at 5 PM today to denounce Donnie McClurkin's defamations of our community. We will make signs, carefully choosing messages to make clear our quarrel is with the homophobe who is appearing at public expense and not Gospel music fans. We will stand out holding our signs and distributing fact sheets as McClurkin comes on stage. MCClurkin is the headline act, so he should start at approximately 7 PM. The event is over at 8 PM. Hope you can make it!

I am angry and want equal rights. What can I do here in Boston to have my voice heard?

This group is a new, forming online group for Boston Area activists. I encourage everyone to start connecting and organizing now that folks have joined.

A meeting will be announced soon for planning the HRC Boycott in Boston.
