Profile Information

Who are you? (Creative answers encouraged!)
I am an Australian Gay/Queer male. 24 years old with about 10 years of exposure and involvement in activism of all sorts.

I have a fairly eclectic taste in music but I have certain inclinations to some genres: Ska/Rocksteady, Punk (Riot Grrl, Queercore, Oi!), Soul/Motown, Hip-hop, 60s&70s rock...etc

I am an active member of the Queer community and liberation movement in my area.

I am very active in the Leather/BDSM/Kink community as well and I am a part of a Leather Family.

I have been a Sex Worker and I am committed to fighting for the rights and recognition of Sex Workers in society and within the radical movement.

As much as I may be a cis-gendered male I identify as a Sex-Positive Feminist and my general politics would best be described as Anarchist (Anarcho-Syndicalist/Anarcho-Queer).

I don't drink, smoke or use any other form of drug if you can exclude caffeine, so in effect I am "[Queer-]Edge" but I have no issue with other people's choices when it comes to what they do with their own bodies, that is not my place to interfere nor should it be anybody elses.

I believe in Polyamory however I am currently in a closed mono relationship with my boyfriend who seems somewhat open to the idea of Polyamory as well but it is still early days I guess.

There is more to me but if you want to find out more then just send me a message....I don't bite.

:)

Growing up I was never the slim kid or the one who had the washboard abs like some of the other guys in high school or the one who was all that comfortable unless I had a jumper or jacket on to cover up my shape.

After having gone through years of sport (namely soccer and judo) and the gym I had resigned myself to the reality that I was not going to look like those that we are expected to look like, the healthy slim characters you see on the TV/Ads/Movies/Magazines/etc. I am in a way… Continue

This information is versatile and can be adopted to any community or or organising collective. It is an alternative take on organisation and personal involvement in building and maintaining movements and scenes.
