Who are you? (Creative answers encouraged!)
I am a queer/transgender FTM social justice activist and the Director and a founding member of The Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition http://www.masstpc.org. I am also the creator of Gender Crash, http://www.gendercrash.com, an open mic designed for queer and transgender performers in its eighth year.

I am also on the National Board of Advisors for the National Center for Transgender Equality and a Commissioner on the Massachusetts Commission for GLBT Youth. I am currently studying cultural studies, political science and transgender theory at Goddard College.

MTPC releases Transgender Communities and Voting Access guide

The Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) is releasing the Transgender Communities and Voting Access guide for election officials and poll workers. The impetus for the guide was an incident reported to MTPC from a transgender person who was treated disrespectfully at their polling location by an official working at polls during the September 2008 primaries.

GLAAD and Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) Call on Boston Herald to Apologize for Offensive Coverage of Transgender People

July 11, 2008 – The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) are encouraging people to contact the Boston Herald and ask editors to apologize for the paper's offensive slurs and sensationalistic coverage of transgender people.

I have given up broadcasting my live show on TransFM and will instead donate the money I was spending on broadcasting, to Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition.
