Queer Liberation, Not Assimilation!
I am currently residing in San Francisco with my partner Wing. I work for a non-profit serving the Bay Area's LGBTQ-headed families. Before that I worked at an organization that sued pharmaceutical companies, and before that The Boston Alliance of LGBTQ Youth. I've served on the board of Greater Boston PFLAG, and spoke to thousands of high school students about LGBTQ issues through PFLAG, SpeakOut, and the Department of Public Health of Massachusetts.

When Dad Goes to Jail Part 2
The holidays are difficult for those of us with family members and friends who are in jail cells. It has been over a year since my father was first arrested in a police sting seeking men who hire male sex workers.
He has been placed in his final jail which is a four hour drive away from where most of my family resides. He is able to call me collect now, which is much easier than before. I can e-mail him and they are printed and delivered to him.

- Thanks for the welcome. I just got home from a reception held by the guys from Bilerico, the gay blog, my favorite gay blog. They are here covering the International Conference of Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute. Today, the gay Mayor of Berlin, Germany was the luncheon speaker. Anyhow, I did get to meet & talk with both Bill & his partner, Jerame. Great guys. Thanks again for the invite to post on my "causes". I'm heading to Puerto Rico for a couple months, and will decide what direction I will go in so far as activity this coming year. It is way too confusing going in two directions. I think that the HIV/AIDS cause will be my cause next year.
