The board of Wal-Mart is urging stockholders to vote against the upcoming proposal number 4 which would add gender identity/expression to the companies non-discrimination policy. The board insists Wal-Mart is a leader when it comes to diversity and see no need to implement a change in current policy.

Washington University in St. Louis is set to give an honorary degree to anti-gay, anti-feminist activist Ms. Phylis Schlafly who is scheduled to speak to the graduating class at the May 16 ceremony in St. Louis, Mo.

Schlafly, founder of the Eagle Forum (a right-wing anti-Queer think tank) has been an opponent of LGBT rights and feminism. She has dedicated her life to being an anti-gay advocate pushing against equal rights legislation and Queer visibility within Washington U. her alma-matter.
