How furious am I today? Let me count the ways ....
On second thought, no. Who's listening? Precious few. Yeah, cumulative things get to be a rabid bear when they're piled atop each other and compounded. Starting off the day fighting doesn't help. Nice sticky heat…

As Radical Queers, we are in a constant war against the HRC. Our frustrations run much deeper than ENDA or any other single issue. However, I have often found myself unable to substantiate my frustrations when talking with more mainstream "LGBT" folks. So, me and a friend are planning to compile and edit a zine on why we hate the HRC. We are looking for more radical perspectives written in a language that would be accessible to more mainstream "LGBT" folks.
Talking points could/should include,…

When HRC endorsed Maine Republican Susan Collins,
queer activists were not happy because we know that all issues of social justice affect our lives.
Case in point: Swine Flu. Susan Collins lead the Republican charge to eliminate funding for pandemic prepared…

"A man can be short and dumpy and getting bald but if he has fire, women will like him." — Mae West
The "Calling All Trans Men" post drew out some interesting comments in response, which I'm happy to see. Indeed there was more to discuss on the topic, but I tend to write long enough blogs as is.
While the first blog was more focused on the politics and avenues to utilize our male or female presentation status, there's still more to it. One thing I've noticed and even alluded to b…
