Update: 365gay.com is reporting that the murderer is claiming he thought Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado was a woman when he picked Jorge up in a red-light district (presumably for sex). When the murderer found out Jorge was biologically male he says he panicked as he was had flashbacks of being raped in prison.

Today was Day Without A Gay, a poorly planned rehash of all the extraordinary impractical boycotts/days off work that have not been effective in decades. Some of us tried to tell them it would do... nothing... but no one listened.
