Hi all

After four years, over 3000 weddings, an untold number of rallies and protests and so much spiffy wedding garb, tomorrow is the decision we've been waiting for.

I got a phone confirmation this morning and the Center announced it as well this afternoon, the CA Supreme Court is announcing it's decision on the Marriage case tomorrow morning at 9:30 and then posting it on their website at around 10am.

And then it's on to the Center at 5pm to celebrate a ruling that has been four years in the making or stand against continued discrimination. Hope y'all can join me..

The California Supreme Court has announced that they will release their ruling on same sex marriage tomorrow (5/15) morning. The Court will post their decision online at 10:00 am and we will keep you updated as soon as information becomes available.

Whatever the outcome, tomorrow promises to be an historic day. Community, family, and friends are invited to gather at the LGBT Center, at Octavia and Market in SF, to be a part of history.

The Center will be hosting a community wide “Celebration of Love and Family” at 5:00 pm. This event will feature legal experts explaining how the ruling will affect you and your family, and will also provide an opportunity for us to come together as a community. Whether we are mourning or celebrating, we will demonstrate that we take marriage seriously and honor commitment to our partners and our families.

A “Celebration of Love and Family” will feature representatives from the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), Equality California, the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, some of the plaintiffs for the case, and community advocates include Marriage Equality and Our Family Coalition.
